World oil prices rose on Tuesday (29/12) local time, amid expectations that a larger drawdown of stocks in the United States, where cold weather could increase demand for heating fuel. The main futures contract, New York, light sweet crude for delivery in February, rose 10 cents to settle at 78.87 dollars per barrel.
