The act of hatred that makes for no tolerance of religion is so opposed to the core principles of America that it should be obvious to everyone. It is one thing to have strong beliefs as to who will inherit the kingdom of God. And indeed, there are people tolerated in the United States who don't believe there is a kingdom of God.
